Our Vision and Values

As our school vision states, “At Newtown Primary School we believe every individual will learn and flourish with the support of a committed team.” we are committed, as a school to ensuring that the young people that attend our great school not only thrive academically but also socially and learn to positively impact the communities in which they live.

Our core school value of RESPECT is underpinned by our four pillars of respect for; self, others, learning and environment.

As seen below, our newly developed schoolwide Positive Behaviour Support Matrix (PBS) makes the behaviours and expectations of all students clear, explicit and visible. This document was developed by staff and students and highlights what is expected from all individuals each and every day.
